- Michelle at "Elliot's Expeditions" was the first to give me this award. She's such an amazing Mom, I just love her outlook on life. I'd definitely give it right back to her if I could. :)
This is what Michelle had to say about me:
Nicole at All 4 My Gals is so very full of life. Her Christian perspective is invigorating and she raises each of her beautiful daughters directed by God’s word. She prays fervently for all those in need and I do believe that God takes extra time to listen to her. I hope that I get the opportunity to meet Nicole in person someday.
I hope I get to meet you too someday Michelle, you are too kind.
Before I was able to accept Michelle's gracious award I received the same award from two of my dear friends. - Jeff at "Big Dawg Tales" said this about my little family Nic and Joe are without a doubt two of our dearest friends in the world. Not matter what the deal, no matter where we are we always know they are there for us. We are really lucky to be so close with this whole family. I feel like the Uncle Big Dawg the girls never had and they wish I would go away, well except for my little Marley Bob who totally understands "Peace Dude". Thanks Jeff, we love you too Big Dawg!
- Then his precious wife Jan at "Mauzy Musings" nominated me again....no wonder they're married. LOL And Jan sweetly says, And to triple vote her, Nicole at All 4 my Gals- because of her unwavering faith, love for our family, and the fact that she is "Aunt Nicole" to my son. We love her and her family as our own.
Go check out her blog and tell me how I could NOT love their son like my own? Yes, he's Nash, the fellow that I dream of Tarenne marrying.
The “Blogger Reflection Award” which “should make an individual reflect upon five bloggers who have been an encouragement, a source of love, impacted you in some way, and who have provided a Godly example. In other words, five dear bloggers whom, when you reflect upon them, you are filled with a sense of pride and joy...of knowing them and being blessed by them.”

- My first nomination is to Betsy at "Bits of Betsy" who truly is my mentor in so many ways. Betsy is one of the first moms who reached out to me and helped me after I received my prenatal diagnosis. Over the last 7+ years she has shown me what true friendship is, what true love for your children looks like and what love for the Lord can do in our lives.
- Annette at "Bump on the Road" is a close friend who for the past 6 years I have shared life with. We both have children that have T21 and we both love the Lord. She came to Kentucky about 3 years ago to meet in person and since then we have been blessed to be together in real life several more times. Annette started her blog to keep friends and family updated through out her battle with cancer. She is a valiant fighter and needs our prayers right now more than ever. Her faith remains strong, her love of life is steadfast and we are all praying in unison that her body will be healed. Please pray with us and visit Annette's blog to let her know you are joining us.
- Karen at "Chewy Mom" is one of my favorite people that I have ever met. We too established relationship due to having Down syndrome in our lives. Karen is one of those women that you would give anything to live next door to. She is real, compassionate, funny, smart and honest. I wish I could be Karen! When we met in real life I was not disappointed in any way. She was exactly who I knew her to be. I love Karen for so many reasons. I learn from her every time I read her blog. She is a great Godly example in my life and I would trust her with any aspect of my life!
- Jana at "Journey to Oakley" has been my friend longer than I care to admit. We went to high school together and then through a mutual friend we started really sharing life in our early 20s. I have watched her children grow up, used her as an example as to how I want to parent, and now am proud to be her newest child's Godmother. I have been so blessed to watch her family take a deep step of faith on their adoption journey, and rejoiced when the Lord returned their trust and united them with a sparkly, smart, beautiful daughter. Their faith and trust in the Lord is truly an inspiration and has made me reflect on His love numerous times.
- Lastly I have to nominate one of my dearest friends who just started blogging. Katie at "Katie's Keepsakes" was Tarenne's Kindergarten teacher and has been a HUGE blessing in our lives. She and her husband Ryan have truly become like family to us. They are expecting their first child, Elysia Hope in August. I hope you have been praying for this sweet baby with me. Elysia will be a big part of our family as we are blessed to be her caregivers once her Mommy goes back to work. Katie is a gifted teacher and I know that her kids desperately need her presence in their lives. Tarenne grew immeasurably in Katie's care. It will be my pleasure to give the same care to her baby girl this year! Elysia has been diagnosed with complete heart blockage in utero. Katie and Ryan's faith and trust in the Lord to care for them and their sweet girl has inspired me and been an example to all of us around them. It is through their strength that we found ours. Our prayers have worked and Elysia's heart is doing great and the doctor's expect that she will not need any interventions until she is a bit older and more active. Please continue to pray for this sweet baby and head over to let Katie know you are doing so!
