Special Exposure Wednesday

5 Minutes for Special Needs

Randy brought Emilee and Addie to visit this past weekend.  Emilee has T21 and is the little girl that we thought we were going to adopt until her Daddy realized he could not live without her.  He has allowed us to stay involved in her life, and for that we are forever grateful.

I am also more than a little grateful that he is so grace filled when it comes to Tarenne's comments each time they visit, "This is our baby, go home!".  That statement sums up just how connected she was to this little girl and that bond still seems to remain strong.  She is so tender when it comes to her interactions with Emilee.

If you are a new visitor and you want to read about our journey with Emilee you can click the label "Adoring Aliza" on our sidebar.

So very sweet. I Love those pics. And I also love, love, love your story 'Adoring Aliza', it was one of the first things I read on your blog.
I almost asked once if I could talk about it on my blog and link to it. It is such an amazing story and such an example of true selflessness. So very much about it helped me to embrace my lil' Presley in the early days!

I am so happy that you still have contact, though I can imagine it must sting just a little. My friend steered me towards your blog when you were posting your Adoption journey. Your truly an amazing person.

I'll have to come back later and read your story. I'm busy checking out all the beautiful pictures on everyones blogs right now. How wonderful that you've been able to keep in touch, though. I cannot imagine how difficult it was for everyone involved.

She may not be living with you, but it is obvious that little girl is and always be considered "family".

They are so beautiful together.

What a special little girl you have in Tarenne. And what a doll you had to visit. It is very obvious how much love you all have for her.

What a blessing that they are able to stay in each other's lives. Precious photos.

We lost a daughter in a failed adoption. It's hard.
